After a tornado swept across the east part of the Houston area on Tuesday afternoon, leaving several homes and businesses damaged, the @RedCrossTXGC opened a shelter for those who need a place to stay and for support.

At 3:40 a.m., a call came to the volunteers of the Ukrainian Emergency response team, who are regularly on duty and evacuate people from the eastern part of Ukraine, about the urgent hospitalization of a woman in labor. A woman who lives in Lyman went into labor.
