Do you remember when President Trump stood at that podium, desperately trying to warn us about hydroxychloroquine — a cheap, safe, decades-old medicine that frontline doctors said could stop COVID in its tracks if given early?

Do you remember the laughter?
The mockery?
The endless late-night jokes, the cable-news hit pieces, the “experts” who treated him like a dangerous fool for even mentioning it?
They didn’t just disagree.
They ridiculed him.
They silenced the doctors.
They made damn sure millions never got the chance.

If the medical community had simply admitted that hydroxychloroquine worked the way those brave doctors said it did… there would have been no need for the vaccine.
No rushed mandates.

Every Democrat running for every office ought to be asked what they think of Hasan Piker, then asked again after being shown this video. Piker is the Robespierre of the DSA, and he has surrogates like El-Sayed in MI, Troy Jackson in ME, Peggy Flannigan in MN, Talarico in Texas, Pappas in NH etc. All of them should be asked to comment on Piker and whether they welcome his support.

In cycles past, whenever a leading GOP figure made controversial statements, reporters would pursue the nearest Republican candidate with demands for comment. Piker is the new face of the Democratic Party and not just its DSA cult. Dems should be asked to own or disown him. Chuck Schumer said the “Democratic tent” is big. This big?

Of course it won’t happen. I’ll be surprised if the clip even makes Sunday shows outside of @FoxNewsSunday. It is the most important political development of the weekend but will be buried by legacy media running interference for the Democrats.

Let me just say something.

I've known Data Republican longer than most of you. She became an online friend back when my X account was much bigger than her X account.

I saw her making predictions about the 2024 election that were different than everybody else, grounded in novel analyses of data points nobody else ever looked at, and even before the actual election results proved that she was the most accurate electoral analyst on Planet Earth, I like to flatter myself and think that I spotted her analytical genius very early on.

I got to know her as a result of my admiration for her work.

I have talked to her a lot over the past couple of years. She is genuine. She is who she says she is, in every way. She is not an "op." She is not funded by [FILL IN THE BLANK OF WHATEVER ORGANIZATION YOU DESPISE]. She is an independent, extremely smart person with strong Christian moral convictions. She does what she thinks is right, and she stands in the fire bravely, in a way that few of us could ever bear.

Is she perfect? No. We all make mistakes. But you know what? When she does, she owns up to those mistakes, unlike 99% of the other "influencers" out there.

Which makes me admire her even more.

If you are one of those people who keep insisting she is some sort of paid information warfare operative as part of whatever conspiracy du jour has infested your inflamed cerebral cortex, you can just stick it, idiot.
