We don’t care about your “Shaykh al-Islām.” The first window above the Ḥujrah of the Blessed Prophet ﷺ already existed during the time of Sayyidatunā ʿĀʾisha, as mentioned in the ḥadīth. Later, when the Green Dome was constructed, a second window was built directly parallel to the original window above the Prophet’s ﷺ Ḥujrah (see pic).

1. The narration does include seeking help from Prophet ﷺ after his passing. You cannot deny this fact.

2. Authentication of the narrator: Saʿīd ibn Zayd.

Shaykh al-Islām Ibn al-Jawzī al-Ḥanbalī who have mentioned this in his work al-Wafāʾ bi Aḥwāl al-Mustafā, showing its authenticity and permissibility in seeking blessings (tawassul/istighāthah) through the Noble Prophet ﷺ, stated in the Muqaddimah (who was very strict in al-Jarḥ wa al-Taʿdīl):

“I have not mixed ḥaṣīḥ aḥādīth with lies.”
