@HBCUNightly You’re right it doesn’t have to be ugly. But sometimes tough love is a hard thing to accept. I understand both viewpoints. Our communities are being threatened the most so our universities need to be a safe haven for our own. His approach was abrasive but he meant well.

@HBCUNightly I absolutely think every university has a problem but aren’t we supposed to be separating ourselves from PWI’s? We’re supposed to be showing that we’re different and that’s what’s supposed to make our universities more alluring to incoming students and student athletes.

The university could call on the community or government funding to fix those things. Question is did they do that?
