The Approach trial is now open to recruitment at UCLH to identify whether proton beam therapy can minimise side effects, particularly neuro cognitive function 🧠

A ground-breaking radiotherapy trial for adult brain cancer patients will take place at UCLH to see if proton beam therapy – where a high energy proton beam targets tumours very precisely – can minimise some of the side effects of standard radiotherapy.
