June is National Cancer Survivors Month.
For those of us with a chronic disease, we refer to it as thriving. It means making a choice to keep living and continuing to shine, no matter your circumstances.
I personally love this month because it reminds me how much progress we’ve made in this fight. I’m excited to continue talking about my experiences and my journey in hopes of helping someone push a little harder through their own journey.
This One’s for YOU.

This weekend, we race for more than trophies. We race to bring awareness, educate and support those who have fought, are fighting and will fight breast cancer. Thank you to @GTWalter1 & everyone at @CLTMotorSpdwy for everything they do for breast cancer awareness and letting us be a small part of a much bigger picture.
Following Sunday's race at the ROVAL, the pink window nets from all Cup Series drivers will be signed & auctioned at https://t.co/C8FW610cks from October 14 - 21 with the proceeds supporting breast cancer screenings and care.

Thinking of the great Stevie Ray Vaughan today on his heavenly birthday, seen here playing the blues at Antone’s 💙
Video from the Antone’s collection, story from “Texas Flood: The Inside Story of Stevie Ray Vaughan.”
It's breast cancer awareness month &, while I'm sure corporations had good intentions when they began what is now known as #pinkwashing, I ask that you look into where your money is actually going when you buy pink. Most of the time, it's just a marketing ploy and very little actually is donated.
"Everything ended up perfect, I am very happy with the decision I'm making...I was not gonna retire without being a Texas Ranger."
We love Elvis Andrus 🫶

Stevie Ray Vaughan. The man we lost 34 years ago on this day in a terrible accident.
He's one of the best guitar players and blues musicians in the world. Many guitar players admired his playing and in are influenced by him.
His songs, his technique, and playing on that fretboard was just beyond everything.
Throughout his life, he frequently mentioned that he was influenced by Jimi Hendrix, Albert King, and many others.
Today marks the 34th anniversary of his death, let's remember the legendary guitarist SRV all together.
Stevie Ray Vaughan performing a song he called 'Texas Flood' which was released within the same-titled album by his band SRV & Double Trouble in 1983.
A man who was born in Texas made a song he called Texas Flood performing a killer version of it live at the El Mocambo.
Don't say anything, just watch and remember him.
