I’ve updated my History wider reading list. I’ve merged KS3 and KS4 and included non fiction titles to go alongside all the fiction recommendations. https://t.co/I4rIEk8N1U
@HistoryKss Seals at morston, blickling hall, felbrigg hall bewilderwood, roar dinosaur park, gressenhall, amazona zoo, bure valley railway, beach at wells, cromer beach, norwich castle, great yarmouth
@Miss__Powell For 10 years I stuck to my guns if I knew I was right and luckily my team at the time backed me up. Eventually I realised I had to make a change for sanity reasons and get out.
@MrDelaneyMFL I left last year. It was a really hard call. I don’t regret it for a single second. My life has been transformed and walking away was the best thing I ever did for myself
Teaching Superpower Relations and The Cold War? This is set during The Berlin Airlift and looks fab. Will be digging in once I finish exam marking contract
@senco_tiago I left last year for exactly the same reason. It was the best thing I ever did. Had no plan of what I was doing next. Found new job (which I love) and started in August. You will not regret it at all
@LMS_Maestra @heymrsbond I left teaching last year. Best move I ever made. Making the change was terrifying but I have never been happier. The job was soul destroying by the end
Had the opportunity to catch up with some of my former PGCE trainees at pre-stand last week. So pleased to hear how well they are doing since they went off into the world. Working with trainees was always one of the best parts of the job
@MrPattisonTeach It’s a tiny bit out of date as I left teaching last year (for bookselling). If you find there’s something you still need recommendations for shout and I’ll have a think
