Many trees may have no leaves in winter, but this doesn’t mean you can’t identify them! 🌳 🔍 ❄️
This January, we’re delving into winter tree identification – covering the hints and tips you can get from bark, buds, and branches. 🌳
To start with winter tree identification, you would need to observe features such as:
The texture and colour of the bark
The shape, size and pattern of the buds
The overall shape of the tree and how the branches grow and divide
Any fruits and seeds left on or around the tree 🥜
🌳 👉 Follow our socials to hear more about winter tree identification. Join our course starting on the 22nd of January to learn more from an expert tutor: https://t.co/vo2hyMKYHR
