#AndhraPradesh- Audio clip surfaces from the couple who left their three-year-old daughter on a scooter before jumping into the #Godavari River to end their lives.

Sai Krishna revealed that a friend had given him a ring to pawn and subsequently harassed him over the matter.

Sai stated that the ring was lost due to unforeseen circumstances, leading the friend to verbally abuse and torment him.

In the audio clip, Sai Krishna mentioned that creditors had threatened to come to their home and create a scene.

Before the suicide, they released an audio message saying they wanted to live but couldn't, and telling their father to take care.

Sai Krishna and Shirisha had married six years ago; the couple had moved into a relative's home two months prior after falling into debt.

If the decision to privatise TASMAC retail operations is implemented, I believe it marks a significant policy shift after more than two decades.

In my view, it is neither ethical nor appropriate for a government to be directly engaged in the retail sale of alcohol to its own citizens. I hope other States also consider similar reforms.
