@hollwhyy @Korsoto @nbcsnl however, i think the point was even with someone the opposite gender as pam, someone as far out as pete davidson from snl, people still thirst over supposed "jim and pam" kissing. that's the whole point of the skit. i say to relax bc not everything needs to be offensive
@hollwhyy @Korsoto @nbcsnl people don't just kiss that often? idk about you but i'm not watching people kiss all the time so it's an abnormal thing, especially between 2 straight who don't know each other. it's shocking and exciting. making it a gay issue is so pointless you can relax its okay lol
@hollwhyy @Korsoto @nbcsnl it wasn't funny. it was supposed to be weird and have shock value bc these are two straight people that do not know each other. and obviously context matters, it was part of a skit+that was the punchline, bc john is married+obviously not jim. it's "funny" bc it's not expected
@Korsoto @nbcsnl also, it was in the skit bc they are two straight men, one of which is married w children. it has a shock factor, which is laughable. it has nothing to do with their gender but rather that it was a funny way to end a skit, in context
@Korsoto @nbcsnl the joke is that people miss the office and jim and pam, not that two men kissing is funny? the point is that people miss jim and pam so much that they'd watch john krasinski kiss anyone and say it was pam. don't think it has anything to do with laughing at gay people?
