Working for a catholic healthcare company, in light of roe v wade do not tell your doctors your sexual orientation or date of last period. This is leeway to lose your constitutional right to privacy, you cannot guarantee it won’t be used against you. Everyone needs to be careful.

@GuntherGill @btabarsimd The doctors, but most of the time it is our whole American healthcare system. We can document all day how terrible this is for patient care but the reality is these insurance companies make a profit and they absolutely will not pay a penny they don’t want to.

If we give you an advil we have to notate we gave you an advil, which gets noted on the claim, which insurance then charges $ for. If we don’t document, it can lead to lawsuits unfortunately
