Winning Matches Doesn't Absolve Gambhir’s Shameless Favoritism and Flawed Tactics.

It is absolutely infuriating to watch what this team management is doing. Everyone is screaming that Kuldeep Yadav is washed up, that he looks like he has forgotten how to bowl, and that he is nowhere near his best.
But is he actually a bad bowler? Absolutely not.

The harsh reality is that Gautam Gambhir has systematically destroyed his career.

A spinner completely relies on confidence, rhythm, and regular game time. Instead of nurturing that, Gambhir has sidelined Kuldeep across all three formats just to satisfy his toxic obsession with "batting depth." If you never intend to play him in the final XI, why do you even bother picking him in the squad? It is pure mockery. When you constantly bench a world-class specialist, pass him over for mediocre alternatives just because they can swing a bat, and pile immense pressure on him, how on earth do you expect him to bowl with any confidence when he finally gets a rare chance?

This is the toxic problem with Indian cricket fans and media - the moment the team wins a match, all of blunders and destructive decisions are instantly forgiven.

This shameless management is actively destroying careers instead of building players. Look at what they are doing to the likes of Kuldeep and Axar Patel. And let’s not forget how Arshdeep Singh was forced to sit out just so Gambhir could forcefully push his favorite, Harshit Rana, into the lineup every single match. The list of his biased, ego-driven decisions is endless.

Shame on Gambhir for ruining the careers of genuine match-winners like Kuldeep Yadav.😡

VERY IMPORTANT:

Delhi Police has admitted in the SC that facial recognition technology was deployed during the Jantar Mantar protests.

Now for facial recognition to make a “match”, there needs to be an underlying database of photos+details of citizens. So where did Delhi Police get that database from?

In response to an RTI of mine in 2020, the Election Commission admitted that it had shared the entire voter list WITH PHOTOS with Delhi Police during the Delhi riots investigation.

Interestingly, ECI’s own rules PROHIBIT sharing of photo electoral roll with ANY agency. And yet, the ECI broke its own rules in 2020 & handed over the data to Delhi Police.

Therefore:

👉 Did ECI supply voter lists with photos to Delhi Police for their facial recognition database during Jantar Mantar protests?

👉 What other agencies (Aadhaar, IT Dept, Transport Dept etc) have shared their database with Delhi Police to be used for facial recognition?

👉 If no agency has provided any data, how is Delhi Police managing to conduct facial recognition on EVERYONE (not just those with a criminal record) during protests?

There’s a reason that the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act has NOT yet been fully notified despite being passed by Parliament in Aug 2023 (THREE YEARS AGO).

It’s 2 simple questions really:

👉 Will the Delhi Police disclose what database it is using for facial recognition?

👉 Will ECI & other bodies confirm whether they’re still providing photo databases to Delhi Police?
