Hitachi Expands in Karnataka | New Development Center in Hubballi-Dharwad Announced

Met with the leadership of Hitachi Construction Machinery to discuss their growing role in India and explore opportunities for deeper collaboration.

I was pleased to learn that Hitachi’s Dharwad unit has become a key export hub serving the Middle East, Africa & Southeast Asia. The company also announced the establishment of a Hitachi Construction Machinery Development Center in Hubballi–Dharwad, focused on designing and developing global products & components. This center will employ 200 engineers by 2027, a milestone that shows Karnataka’s strength beyond Bengaluru.
