It's hard to be humble when you're as great as us, but we try.We don't wave plastic flags nor eat prawn sandwiches, but we will carry LFC thru the ages. YNWA.
@IamSvented@Axaxia88 Although it isn’t the ending we hoped for, I take comfort in knowing that he was still cared for and his sufferings were reduced at the mercy of euthanasia.
Lopburi, Thailand, famous as "Monkey City," is home to thousands of long-tailed macaques, particularly around the Phra Prang Sam Yot temple. Once a tourist draw and considered sacred, the monkeys became aggressive and overpopulated following pandemic lockdowns, leading to a 2024–2025 crackdown with mass sterilization and relocation to restore order.
Born wild, lived on trees and buildings. They are now locked up by the hundreds, lacking proper space, no food and full of diseases, dying from hunger every day!
Why is the Lopburi municipality allowed to lock up and kill these monkeys? They have no clue how to care for them! They do not feed them appropriately!
Department of National Parks & Wildlife you will need to step in and stop this now. Livestock Department you will need to charge the Lopburi Municipality with animal torture.
There are huge budgets allocated, but where is this money going??
Monkeys can’t speak, so we must shout it out for them!

Animal cruelty is happening in countless ways, and people keep finding new ways to exploit the very beings who depend on them.
Look at this pony working tirelessly through the day, carrying loads, serving humans without a choice. And at night? Left on the roads to search for food and water on its own. As if exhaustion wasn’t enough, its legs are tied, forcing it to suffer even while trying to move, eat, or rest.
How can someone be so cruel to a soul that earns their bread and butter?
These voiceless beings give their strength, their time, their entire lives… and in return they get pain, neglect, and suffering. It is heartbreaking and deeply disturbing to witness such injustice.
Kindness costs nothing. Compassion takes nothing away from us. Yet for animals like this, it could mean the difference between a life of suffering and a life with dignity.
We must do better. They deserve better.
