@AyusoValue I am bullish as well. Most pundits will only realize the massive uptick in earnings in 2028 when it's staring right at them!
Curious to know, have you ever taken a look at BW offshore? To sum up it's somewhat of an oil leaning peer to Golar.
@KramerKarma1 Agreed, it's been on top of my buy list for the last 3 months but I've awaited sentiment reset. Hoping for $22 for a large position. Easy 2x even with unchanged oil price
@AndreasSteno Half was expected, double was rumored a few days ago. So as has been the case the last 12 months this is pretty much expected in the market.
@KramerKarma1 Really having a tough time keeping up. Every time I pops I see it as fairly valued.. then they do another acquisition 😅
How far do you think it can run?
@KramerKarma1@thomasg_grizzle Not a bad strategy at all. Been following you for a while. I'm not as skilled as you at analyzing oil growth profiles, well potential or decline rates and all that. Always appreciate your posts!
@KramerKarma1@thomasg_grizzle When I entered gold, I prefered high quality/low cost or mid-tear with growth outlook, follow by near-production dev. plays and takeover candidates. Later on, I turned to explorerers and increased my jurisdictional risks.
How will you play the coming oil rebound?
@KramerKarma1@thomasg_grizzle Good point! Honestly, I haven't viewed them as the risky (probably naive of me😀).
When I'm early in a sector I prefer low risk, and in oil that equates to decent balance sheet and dividend/buybacks imo. When the mood starts changing I increase my risk.
@KramerKarma1@thomasg_grizzle I agree, there's a solid fundamental case for most producers. Selling hasn't been easy. But I believe commodities are priced at the margin. Right now, AISC is way below the gold price, but I believe it'll catch up at some point. The rise in gold price has just been too quick.
@KramerKarma1@thomasg_grizzle Still 15% allocated though.
Bought uranium stocks (5%) in 2020 and reduced way to early last year (still 6%) allocation.
I'm a bit early at selling, but riding the gold wave up and down in 2020-2022 was mentally very hard.. being right, gaining 200% and losing most..
@KramerKarma1@thomasg_grizzle Thanks, I bet it's just a technical breakout. I have the exact same timing gift, so I understand your frustration! Added Meren Energy a few weeks ago, and I'm finally warming up to buy Valeura soon.
I see oil bottoming out in 2026 but I don't wanna miss any upswing until then 🫡
@OriginalBraila I noticed the same thing after the recent sale. Although, in my calculations it still trades at a discount to NAV based on the recent sales.
How do you view TORM at the current valuation?
