You've seen @garyvee mentioning BOOK GAMES and Mini Drops, which will play a big role in Burn Island, but what exactly are those collections, where did they come from, and what should you know about them?

Intro to BOOK GAMES
BOOK GAMES is a VeeFriends layer 2 NFT project which lives on @Immutable, a layer 2 chain on Ethereum. Originally, the only way to obtain a BOOK GAMES token was by participating in a 24-hour promotion for Gary's book Twelve and a Half in August 2021. Buyers who purchased 12 copies during the promotion received one NFT.

BOOK GAMES NFTs launched in Jan 2022 with a supply of 125,000. They're unique because they're forever usable and burnable for other assets. Since launch, 21,996 tokens have been burnt for rewards like @veecon 2022 tickets, NFTs, sports cards, etc, leaving 103,004 remaining. Oh yeah, incase you didn't know - BOOK GAMES are played forever.

Intro to Mini Drops
VeeFriends Mini Drops are a limited VeeFriends sub-collection that emphasizes collaboration, scarcity, and the cultural longevity of VeeFriends characters. The first release was the Spooky Vees in Oct 2021, a set of 31 unique artworks by @gilangbogy featuring Halloween VeeFriends characters. Since then, 4,995 Gift Goat drop NFTs (9 collections of 555 tokens each) and 2,602 collaborative Mini Drops have been released.

Each Gift Goat NFT has its own collection of 555 tokens featuring unique collaborations from highly renowned digital artists. The artists of each gifts are as follows:
