If this is a true story, then you did a terrible job of researching this.

Jimmy Kimmel is off the air for one major reason: His lies about the Charlie Kirk shooter. This caused a ground swell backlash that caused ABC affiliates to tell the network they would stop broadcasting his show.

Dollars.. It’s all about dollars. Affiliates not showing Kimmel meant loss of ad revenue. Plus, Kimmel’s lies opened ABC to massive defamation lawsuits. Again, more dollars.

Where did the government fit into this? The Kimmel incident just gave the FCC more ammunition to pull their broadcasting license for repeated violations.

But the reason Kimmel is suspended is the everyday people that told their affiliate to take him off

Most of that is claptrap.

Let’s just take a few.
“Individual Liberty” - The Democrat party waged war on one of our major individual rights - the 2nd Amendment. They believe the Government should have the ultimate say on what guns, what ammunition and what you can do with them. That’s not individual liberty.

“Equality” - No. They don’t believe that everyone should be treated equally. They believe in Equality of Outcome. That means individual effort and advancing in life based on merit don’t exist. Only that, in the end, everyone has equal assets, even if it means taking from some to give to others. That’s socialism.
