From today and forever more ALL Ugandan Police Officers will wear their name tags on their right chest pocket. They must also wear their police badge and number on their left chest pocket. Finally, all Ugandan citizens have the right to demand the name and badge number of any arresting officer. If they do not respond, you have the right to resist arrest.
25years of a beautiful love affair and 15years of holy matrimony. Countless memories, smiles, tears, ups and downs-but still together. Dear @BarbieItungoK, I love you more than I did 25years ago, and if I had to do it again, I would still choose you again and again. Happy anniversary madam First Lady ❤️
OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION
From the Prime Ministers Office
To all the people of Tooro & the Public,
This is to inform you that King Oyo is currently in a critical condition.
At this difficult time, we humbly ask the people of Tooro & our friends to keep His Majesty in your prayers
As a Ugandan, it fills me with pride to see an illustrious son of our nation carry a lifetime of global service, a fierce commitment to the vulnerable, and a deep passion for justice to the world stage.
For years, many of us have followed with great respect, Ambassador Olara Otunnu’s incredible track record at the United Nations.
His work championing human rights and protecting children in armed conflict is exactly the kind of leadership the global community desperately needs right now. True leadership is measured by integrity, vision, and an unwavering dedication to peace and justice.
We can not forget the historical injustice when the Museveni regime vindictively denied him an endorsement for this very position years ago. They blocked him for simply refusing to stay silent about the atrocities they were committing against our people. Perhaps if he had risen to that position at the time, the world would be fairer, more just, and more peaceful.
Central to his vision is a profound passion for genuine multilateral reform, where international institutions must evolve beyond mere arenas of superpower politics to become true instruments of equity, accountability, and shared prosperity for all nations.
I hear some citizens who are raising tough questions about why the regime has suddenly changed its mind to endorse him now. Your scepticism is understandable, given what the bloodthirsty regime is doing to our people. And I know Ambassador Otunnu to be a man of deep humility who welcomes free speech and receives your concerns with grace. We can all bank on his long-term, proven integrity and hope that when he rises to become the world’s top diplomat, he will never turn a blind eye to the ongoing struggle for freedom in his own motherland. As he has consistently acknowledged, Uganda faces dark spots that need fixing.
Ambassador Otunnu has my full solidarity and prayers as he carries our collective aspirations for a fairer world to the global stage.
Friends, how about we respond with this video under every government officials and entities’ tweets, demanding for the release of Sam Mugumya. It is over a year now!
As Dr. Kizza Besigye lies in an ICU room, fighting for his life, let's not forget that the stated intention of the Museveni regime is to murder him. Museveni’s criminal son, who derives pride in being a face of evil has been clear that "......Besigye will only leave prison in two ways. Either in his coffin after we hang him or shoot him or on his knees apologising to Mzee [Museveni]". That's why they have denied him bail, dismantled his legal team, and hounded him left, right and center.
The world must not standby. What is happening in Uganda is catastrophic. Let's use every avenue to speak out, protest and agitate. One blood-thirsty family must not be allowed to torture, maim, murder and hold a nation at ransom without consequence!
@KarungiRach So museveni who has jailed people like Yasin Sekitoleko machete for now to six years has led this country for close to 40years but Kyagulanyi without a criminal record is found questionable😊
Wewe ni mlevi wa taifa tu!
You’re a wannabe badman, masquerading as a fierce military General, but deep inside you’re weak, insecure, and desperate for attention.
You never earned the ranks you wear, no wonder you abuse and disgrace them every single day.
Your actions are such an embarrassment to the Uganda People’s Defense Forces (UPDF). History will remember you and your father with shame.
One day even your own children will struggle to defend your name.
I have put to Local Government people, whom some describe as cantankerous and quarrelsome, like Balaam and Justine Nameere. Nameere is famous for quarrelling. So, go and quarrel with her. - President @KagutaMuseveni#KnowYourBudget26#NBSUpdates
