@dt_rigv @DoorDash@DoorDash_Help It’s up to drivers whether or not to accept the order, is there a tip and is the total mileage worth it? Plus, are you in an area with bad weather? Less drivers and more orders then.
@Laxing@DoorDash The only reason for asking a customer to do that would be after delivery the cell service drops and our app won’t work, have to drive to an area where it works too far to confirm delivery then, I’d call DD support though.
@SkinFinesser @DoorDash He had multiple orders, when you text us dashers we don’t know which customer is texting unless you identify yourself, which is why he asked if you were Lizbeth.
@tgies1 @DoorDash For clarification, 45 minutes from the time you place the order or from the time you are notified it has been picked up and is on its way?
@RabidOtters2@DoorDash Dashers can’t cancel orders, only unassign which will cause it to be sent out for another dasher to accept or pick it up then get close enough to the delivery address to mark it delivered.
@ABNOXIOUSHtv2 @wild456@DoorDash@BoyzIIMen I won’t even accept orders without an upfront tip, if the order isn’t worth taking at face value I won’t gamble that there might be a tip. I used to occasionally accept those orders,99% of the time there’s no tip.
@wild456@DoorDash@BoyzIIMen As a dasher, I wouldn’t have taken the order, I won’t do more than 2 at a time and only if the delivery locations are close together. I’d feel terrible delivering melted ice cream.
@FutureOffenders@dmouse097@DoorDash Same. I got the highest top yet yesterday, $143 worth of sushi, you bet your ass I treated that order lines precious baby lol
@FutureOffenders@dmouse097@DoorDash I wish restaurants would bag hot and cold items separately, most bags are sealed but, even if they aren’t I’m not going to reach in and pull things out.
@602Erik @DoorDash Isn’t SC a red state? Of course most of them don’t wear masks. There’s a lot of people like that in my red state as well. DD requires it but can’t exactly enforce it.
@davep_95@DoorDash Too many orders, restaurants overwhelmed. As a dasher, I’ve been refused at restaurants on super busy days, told they can’t handle all the delivery orders on top of in restaurant and pick ups. Holidays are the worst day for delivery.
