@dragodimitrov @cordwainia Our Catholic parish doesn't do this. The entire lectionary is in place on the ambo when Mass begins. I think carrying the Gospels as part of the processional is just an option. I rarely have seen them carried in at Mass, and then it's happened only in more "liberal" places.
