Adolf Hitler’s rise to power was marked by a systematic campaign to dismantle democratic institutions, suppress dissent, and undermined democratic elections, while dehumanizing minority groups.

Shortly after taking power in 1933, Hitler’s regime began reshaping how German history and culture were presented to the public while demanding loyalty instead of institutional allegiance. The Nazis purged museums, universities, libraries, and cultural institutions of anything that contradicted their ideology. School curricula and museum exhibits were rewritten to glorify the Aryan race and erase Germany’s responsibility for World War I. Any content deemed "degenerate" or "un-German" was removed.

Hitler then undermined judicial independence by pressuring judges to conform to Nazi ideology and calling for the expulsion of those judges who did not. Hitler and his propaganda machine frequently claimed that protesters and political opponents were not genuine, but rather paid agitators working for foreign interests—especially Communists and Jews. This narrative helped justify violent crackdowns and mass arrests.

His regime also crushed independent journalism, replacing it with tightly controlled propaganda that manipulated public opinion. Hitler sent thousands of people who were perceived threats to concentration camps without trials or due process.

Most significantly, he cast aside the constitutional limits of the Weimar Republic, which destroyed any remaining constitutional limits on his rule.

This is exactly what the internet does—except it doesn’t take five weeks. It happens in a fraction of a second.

Algorithms (computer code) tracks what you like, what you read, and what you believe. Over time, they filter out anything that challenges your perspective. This means:
✅ You’re only seeing information you already agree with.
✅ Everything reinforces your existing beliefs.
❌ Contradictory information is hidden or dismissed.

At first, it feels comfortable. But then, the messaging starts to shift:
➡️ You hear about bad things happening in the world.
➡️ Then, bad things happening here in America.
➡️ Then, who is supposedly responsible.
➡️ Then, that those people aren’t just wrong—they’re evil.
➡️ Then, that evil must be stopped.
➡️ Then, the question: “When is someone going to do something about it?”
➡️ Then, the answer: “No one else will—so a real patriot must step up.”
➡️ Then, the suggestion: “You are that patriot.”
You’re reminded of your love for this country. The pride you felt saying the Pledge of Allegiance as a kid. The sacrifices your family has made. And suddenly, it feels like a personal mission—you must act.

And here’s the kicker: You start to notice that everyone around you is saying the same thing.

🗣️ Your neighbor Arlene mentions it while taking out the trash: “Did you read about what the Democrats are doing?”

The internet has filtered out opposing views, amplified certain narratives, and created an environment where everyone around you believes the same thing—because they’ve been fed the same information.

The Danger of One-Sided Information
This isn’t about intelligence. It’s about exposure.

When people only see one side of a story, they become convinced that their viewpoint is the only truth. This is how people are pushed to extremes. This is how fear and anger are manipulated.

If you truly want the real truth, you must:
🔍 Seek out multiple perspectives (trust open source AI).
❓ Ask tough questions.
📚 Read sources that challenge your beliefs.
Because when everyone around you thinks the same way, it’s not necessarily because it’s true. It’s because that’s all they’ve been shown.

💡 Break the echo chamber. Think for yourself.
