@cardinals150@shre98@Kansashoopschat@nick_schwerdt Self would have said that about anyone. My point is if there is someone who had a chance to come earn it over KJ, AJ had a pretty decent shot, better than a freshman in pretty much all cases except Flagg.
@cardinals150@shre98@Kansashoopschat@nick_schwerdt Should have been recruited over? He basically was! AJ Storr plays the 4 and at least 40% of KU fans thought he should start over KJ even 2 months ago, but HE IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
@JayhawkTalk This is what has always made KU bball culture/community great and winning is only a piece of it. I think transfer portal/ culture has had the most impact on this, everyone players, students, season ticket holders are all just less invested.
A lot of you are in a for a big surprise whenever Bill retires. We will miss the tournament at some point. Choosing to not support a team that’s 16-7 and ranked 17th is bananas. Also, students… go to the game. Those tickets to AFH won’t last forever.
If you have a second, please sign this petition that is generating public support to keep the UDK funded.
The Kansan was an important part of my growth at KU and future KU journalism students deserve the same platform/support:

After this year, I hesitate to call any schedule manageable, but four of the first five games at home at the new Booth, bye weeks before the first Big 12 game vs. WVU, before K-State and before ISU ... no ASU/BYU/Baylor ... could definitely be a lot worse.
@M_Vernon I did not think the big rotation was too bad tonight. I could go for maybe 5 more mins off KJ and 5 off Hunter to Flory, match-up dependent. But I actually think it will trend that way in the coming weeks.
@ecnal15@M_Vernon I don’t like reduced numbers but the reality is many games those corner seats, most of the 1K that were lost were empty anyway. The issue isn’t AFH against a top 10 team it’s weeknight regular conference opponents and in my experience it gets worse every year.
@M_Vernon I know I will sound like an old fogey here talking back in my day, but we had our issues with AD’s screwing students back from 05-09 and on. If Bill and others notice, it has reached unacceptable levels of apathy, regardless of circumstances.
