I wrote about my miscarriage and @CBCOttawa published it in a first person column. Feeling validated and seen as we head into a complicated weekend for us.

Read this letter to @PierrePoilievre from a young trans person. Give it a RT if you agree: Poilievre should be supporting transgender kids, not playing politics with their dignity, rights and acceptance.
@OC_TranspoHelps is the E1 shuttle still running between downtown and Blair during rush hour, every 10 min? And if yes, will it be doing so for the foreseeable future?
I'm trying not to give in to rage but four people, including three children, are shot to death in an act of intimate partner violence and police say "there is no ongoing risk to public safety." Yes there damn well is a threat to public safety. https://t.co/gPCbTHgXId
@OC_TranspoHelps It’s happening again now - the 5.33/5.34 bus 30 to millennium from Blair is not coming. Is the bus no longer running regularly during rush hour?
@OC_TranspoHelps why did the 30 to Millennium just drive by everyone at Blair even though it was scheduled at 5.33pm? This happened a couple of weeks ago too. What’s happening??
@Bp4_Canada Do you know how to spell “children”? Bc it doesn’t appear so from the hashtag you’re using. Maybe you should be the ones in school, not protesting what gets taught there.
THIS. The people in Canada most likely to target children are white, cis, straight family members and friends. Where are the protests against them? Oh right, it’s easier to hate a group of people you never actually interact with.
A reminder as people vilify public education and educators: schools often serve as a lifeline for kids who actually *are* abused at home. Trying to remove any confidentiality or safety a teacher can provide will put far more kids at risk. #LeaveOurKidsAlone#1MillionMarch4Chidren
School districts all over the country are having to add security for tomorrow because of these people's plans to yell at and intimidate teachers and the kids alongside them. If you find yourself at the "lets yell at children in their classrooms" phase.. perhaps re evaluate your life.
This whole thread by Dr. @tungohan. It’s not one time that gendered violence happens in academia towards professors and staff, it’s over and over again especially employees who are Black, Indigenous and racialized.
I keep opening Twitter and hoping I’ll find the right words to respond to what happened at the University of Waterloo, where a man stabbed 2 students and a professor in a gender studies class.
I am at a loss. I’m scared. I’m worried.
@FaeJohnstone One of the ones I use is that the same arguments being used against trans women were used in the past against cis lesbian women (and sometimes still are). Like, I’ve been told that lesbians are a threat to other women in women’s shelters.
