Those who pray are aware of their own limitations; they do not kill or threaten with death. Instead, death enslaves those who have turned their backs on the living God, turning themselves and their own power into a mute, blind and deaf idol (Ps 115:4–8), to which they sacrifice every value, demanding that the whole world bend its knee. Enough of the idolatry of self and money! Enough of the display of power! Enough of war! True strength is shown in serving life. #Peace
Really interesting piece on how University of Chicago professors helped a national network of food banks get surplus food much more efficiently to where it's needed, by creating an internal auction market. https://t.co/s1RYXerO0q
Jesus taught that a lack of concern for the poor is not a minor lapse, but reveals that something is seriously wrong with one’s spiritual compass, the heart.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said that Amazon's intention to display the added cost of tariffs in its product pricing was a "hostile and political act." What's hostile or political about transparency? Consumers have a right to know how much tax they are paying.
Oh dear, It's one of those times when you think hard about what would be really nice to have in the game (#KCD2). You set aside all limits and suddenly you know exactly what to do. I think, later on, nobody bothered intervening, so it got in the game without a big hassle.
This isn't Battlefield V. This isn't Squad 44. This is our game @OpHarshDoorstop and it is free on Steam. I've given out 50 Steam keys to our closed beta so far to everyone who has been retweeting these posts. I will continue giving out more until we launch our update.
@TechDeals_16 Oh I agree with you that it should be reversed, but there were hearings in CO held by the trial and appellate. Paragraph 3 of CO Supreme Court goes through the procedural history and clearly says district court held a five day trial. 🤷♂️
