@timgill924 As a grad student, I read each assigned reading 3 times then crafted a 280 character shitpost response to each paragraph. If you’re not prepared to do at least this much in service to a seething personal vendetta, academia might not be for you.
landlord: the cost of rent has gone up

businesses: that’s a natural part of doing business
worker: the cost of my labor has gone up
businesses: listen here you little shit
@raniawrites Be petty, do it! Some famous actress did that to a classmate who bullied her in grade school, and she felt great afterwards.
I vote for petty!
And, Oh, I'm so sorry this professor put you through this when you lost someone so young and you so young. ❤
“Baltimore is a great place to have a business because real estate is affordable and steady. If you're a small business and you're looking to grow, you need a stable environment where you know what your rent is going to be and what the labor market looks like” - Ayeshah Abuelhiga
Tourism dollars are not greater than long-term residence dollars.

Long-term residents spend and contribute more without destroying communities.
Short-term rentals need to go.
