@ShaunLintern@jarottingen@wellcometrust There is no reward for merit and achievement, and this is increasingly the case (just look at the Foundation Training recruitment system). The reward for more work, is more work. Combine this with piss poor pay across the board, what incentive is there to take on such extra work?
@DavidGWrigley@BMA_GP It looks beautiful. I 100% approve of the posters. Makes me realise that I was right when I used to get frustrated at wishing for more.
Excellent work boss!
This is so powerful
GP raises the issue of Tories decimating our GP practices & bringing in people who are far less qualified
One of Sunak's placard holders then made a disparaging remark to her and Sunak laughed loudly
It's a disgrace
https://t.co/09AEbsJgs8 so
Sunak totally disrespects the country again!
A GP explains the utter shambles that Tories are ensuring by dumbing down our GPs at the expense of qualified British GPs.
A member of Sunak’s team shouts out, “Most GPs spend more time on holiday thank in the surgery LOVE!”
Sunak LAUGHS 😮 he’s beyond appalling!
@Dr_Done_@RishiSunak Can someone please explain….
I thought we were short of GPS, yet this Dr is unemployed?
Why haven’t this years newly qualified Drs got jobs? Confused.
Congratulations to our women, who have won their first match in today’s super 8s, posting Dunstable. 2 wickets a-piece for Shauyaa (on debut), Michelle and Elle; 2 stumpings for Moona. Next up, Chalfont at 5pm.
We've been getting @gmcuk emails to apply for our provisional licenses to allow us to practice medicine in the UK but there is a slight issue... we don't know what date we are starting - because we don't know where we will be working
Your daily reminder that NHSE expects some first year doctors to hear where they are placed as late as 4 July (or even tba) and be ready to start work in this unknown destination w/c 22 July. Still no explanation from NHSE of how this has been allowed to happen. 1.n
38 of us wrote to the head of the trent foundation school asking for more information so we can feel secure about which city we will work in three months time.
Hundreds of UK final year medical students have been told by their foundation schools that they could only get three weeks notice of what hospital and city they will start working in.....🧵
This is such madness. I think this has been overlooked due to the ongoing saga of #rcpegmgate current final year #medicalstudents are cancelling electives to try and figure out where to live and deal with the false promises of #UKFPO as maybe there's not enough jobs.
Doctors have our issues, but the way this country treats medical students is nothing short of disgraceful.
Not only are we randomly allocating our future doctors to random parts of the country against their will, we’re also randomly assigning some to a wait list.
This is cruel
