Day 14 of #16daysofactivism2025
GBV starts with red flags, not bruises.
If you see isolation, control, insults, threats, or unwanted touch — speak up early.
Information Providers is here to help.
BE BOLD. SPEAK UP.
#16DaysOfActivism#EndGBV#YouthVoices#Uganda
One act of #violence can push a teenager into years of depression and self-harm. #GBV steals joy and replaces it with fear.
Youth led support groups, mental health first-aid training, community reporting systems and strong policies should be key.

Day 10 | 16 Days of Activism
Gender-Based Violence is not just a social issue — it’s a violation of basic human rights.
Every girl, every woman, every child deserves safety, dignity, and freedom.
We stand with survivors. We speak for the voiceless.

Fresh week, #NewMonth
Let's make this month a time to recharge, refocus and rediscover our purpose
Remember consistency breeds resilience, let's continue using our voices to advocate, create awareness and challenge myths that often outweigh facts.
#MentalHealthMatters#SRHR
Fresh start. Let's kick off the week with a focus on mental health. Let's be kind to ourselves and others, and work together to create a culture of understanding and support. We are in this together!

During the Day 2 of the GTC training, we noted that every negative message spoken in our
communities sometimes has positive value behind.
We need to adopt positive messages to make our values clear and supportive in #SRHR work.

Yesterday, we were honoured being part of the #PreYouthSMConfUG25 organised by the @MinofHealthUG. We showcased our entrepreneurial skills like books and liquid soap and were also part of a panel discussion representing the young people.

Its now one year since our official launch of THE #AHEALTHYMIND Campaign. We have managed to do both advocacy and campaigns to ensure that #Youth are able to make meaningful decisions.
With the current increase of #Mentalhealth cases, we need more initiatives to support youth.
With support from @savechildrenug, we attended a one day ACCM training under the SHIFT project.
We had discussions on the audience analysis, clear messaging, good quality content and the power of story telling in campaigns.
