A candidate Matovu Stephen Mande stormed the LC1 office with a crowd of people, and in that chaos your officers lost a registry of voters book. They had FOUR books with them. They were supposed to have only two. The book was later recovered but the incumbent was accused of stealing it. To what end? This is typical chaos to prevent the incumbent from being nominated. Intervene and release this candidate so he can get nominated. Also, call your people to order.

Campaign posters of opposition candidates were removed from Mbale City last night ahead of President @KagutaMuseveni's campaign rallies in the area today as he seeks to retain power in the 2026 General Election.
This has been the trend across the country whenever the president visits an area to campaign.
Meanwhile, several opposition supporters have been detained in different parts of the country on allegations of defacing or unpinning posters of the president or politicians who subscribe to the ruling @NRMOnline.
