She was the person who received Enugu Air’s Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the NCAA in March 2026.

Ita has extensive aviation experience as a pilot and executive, including roles at Aero Contractors (as a captain, fleet manager, and head of training/standards), as Managing Director of Spring Airways, as a Principal Flight Operations Inspector at the NCAA, and more recently as Chief Operating Officer at XE Jet (Enugu Air’s earlier operational partner).
