Mumbai is out on the streets again for free and fair elections!
Solidarity with all the protestors. All Indians need to come together. ItтАЩs now or never!
PS: DonтАЩt ask how protests are being allowed in Mumbai. ThereтАЩs big cultural difference between MH Police & Delhi Police.
A report was published yesterday on the front page of The Indian Express titled тАШ14 times in 10 months, two Election Commissioners objected on record to poll panel stepsтАЩ. This has caused a stir across the country. Towards the end of 2025, prior to the municipal elections, whenever we, leaders of opposition parties in Maharashtra, met the State Chief Election Commissioner and his colleagues, it became evident that they possessed no real authority. I have stated this publicly on numerous occasions; both I and my party have openly raised doubts, or leveled allegations, call it what you will, regarding the functioning of the Election Commission. This report confirms the veracity of what we had been saying all along.
Let alone the State Election Commission; when even two commissioners within the Central Election Commission are sidelined, with decisions implemented while keeping them in the dark or completely disregarding their views, one thing becomes crystal clear: the concept of an autonomous Election Commission is now merely a theoretical notion found in books. Under the current dispensation, тАШautonomyтАЩ is defined as тАШsubservience to the Bharatiya Janata PartyтАЩ. If that condition is met, the body is considered autonomous, otherwise it is not. The objections raised by Election Commissioners Mr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Mr. Vivek Joshi are serious, and it is impossible for the Chief Election Commissioner, Mr. Gyanesh Kumar, to dismiss them. Suffice it to say that the identity of the true architect behind his actions is evident.
I am deliberately sharing the link to this Indian Express report here. Every Indian citizen should make the time to read it. You vote and desire change, but this report holds the answers as to why that change will never actually happen.
Over the past ten months, Election Commissioners Mr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Mr. Vivek Joshi have gone on record to criticize the Election Commission's functioning on fourteen separate occasions; yet the Commission remained unmoved and proceeded to do exactly as it intended. The Election Commission currently comprises of three chief members: one Chief Election CommissionerтАФGyanesh KumarтАФand two Election CommissionersтАФSukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi. Two of them raised objections, creating the impression that Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar was making decisions arbitrarily. However, he was actually being compelled to take those decisions. These objections arose within a span of fourteen months. Gyanesh Kumar was appointed in February 2025. This means that he began pleasing his superiors almost immediately upon assuming office.
Here is a brief outline of the objections raised by the other two Commissioners:
They stated in writing that certain orders regarding voter registration, the deletion of names, and the voter list software were issued without the Commission's approval.
'Form 6' included a query asking whether the applicant's name, or that of a family member, had appeared in the previous electoral roll. The two Commissioners argued that the Commission lacked the authority to ask this and it would necessitate a change in the law.
The powers of local electoral registration officers were drastically curtailed, effectively stripping them of the authority to decide on modifications to the electoral roll; the software left local election officials with virtually no power to make such changes.
In Goa, local officials verified documents and determined that 97 individuals were eligible; however, the software did not provide a timely facility to re-include their names. Consequently, their names did not appear in the final electoral roll. If an official deems a voter eligible but the name fails to appear on the list due to technical reasons, who should be held accountable? (1/2)

If you want to live peacefully in India
- Avoid roadrages
- Avoid teaching civic sense to strangers on road
- Avoid public transport
- Avoid discussing politics in public place
- Say sorry with folded hand and move on
People have became impatient and violent specially here.
This is the new epidemic which no one is talking about
Suddenly everyone who wants to interact with Gen Z and Gen Alpha, and some who have taken it on themselves to preach тАЬcultureтАЭ to them via social media, the simple question to all of them isтАж
Where were you when they were facing AK-47s, lathis with rusted nails, electric shock guns and electric barricades, tear gas and when women were manhandled in the name of тАЬlaw and orderтАЭ?
Where were you when they were detained at home while leaving for peaceful protests, or when they were arrested?
Why didnтАЩt you step in then?
ЁЯЪи I think that when Jean Grey takes control of Peter's mind to keep him alive and breathing after he gets shot, she dives deep into his consciousness.
And what if that's the exact moment everything changes?
Jean isn't just reading Peter's thoughts. She's experiencing his entire life through his memories.
She sees Uncle Ben's lessons.
She feels the pain of losing Aunt May.
She witnesses every sacrifice Peter has ever made for New York.
But then she discovers something that doesn't make sense.
Two people, MJ and Ned, appear over and over again in Peter's memories. They're laughing together, fighting side by side, celebrating victories, and sharing some of the most important moments of Peter's life.
Yet when Jean looks into their minds...
Those memories are completely gone.
That's when she realizes something is wrong.
As one of Marvel's most powerful telepaths, Jean would immediately recognize that those memories weren't naturally forgotten. They were magically sealed away by Doctor Strange's spell.
And because she's viewing Peter's unaltered memories directly, she now knows exactly what was erased.
So what if, out of gratitude for Peter risking his life to save hers, Jean decides to give him something he could never give himself?
Not by rewriting reality.
Not by undoing Strange's spell for the entire world.
But by carefully restoring the memories of the two people Peter loves most.
Imagine Jean quietly entering MJ's mind first.
She places every missing memory back where it belongs.
The rooftop conversations.
The first kiss.
The final goodbye before Strange cast the spell.
Then she does the same for Ned.
Suddenly, years of friendship come rushing back all at once.
That would perfectly explain why both of them seem to recognize Peter again without Strange's spell being completely reversed. The world still forgets Peter Parker, but the two people closest to him finally remember the truth.
It also creates a fascinating balance between Doctor Strange and Jean Grey.
Strange used magic to erase memories.
Jean uses telepathy to restore them.
Neither one is necessarily stronger than the other. They're simply manipulating the mind in completely different ways.
If Marvel is really heading in this direction, it could be one of the most emotional payoffs since No Way Home.
Peter sacrificed everything to save the people he loved.
Now Jean Grey may be the one person capable of giving him that life back.
And honestly...
That would be the perfect way to end #SpiderManBrandNewDay
One of the smartest things about SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY is how every character reflects Peter's journey.
тАв Hulk = Suppressing the monster inside.
тАв Yelena = Peter's loneliness.
тАв Punisher = Choosing good over revenge.
тАв Jean Grey = A reflection of all three.
None of these characters were included just for fan service. Every single one served a purpose and mirrored what Peter was going through, making the story much stronger.
#Spider-Man: Brand New Day
I don't think people are talking enough about this scene...
Technically, Peter Parker dies.
That gunshot wasn't something he should've survived.
It wasn't Spider-Man's healing that saved him.
It was #JeanGrey.
She stayed outside the hospital for hours, using her powers to keep Peter alive. Every heartbeat. Every pulse. Every single breath he took before waking up... Jean was breathing for him.
Frank even points out that #Peter shouldn't have survived that wound.
The moment that completely broke me was at the end.
Jean takes one final deep breath...
...and at that exact moment, Peter opens his eyes and takes his first breath on his own.
That's when I realized every breath Peter took until then had been Jean's.
She literally refused to let him die.
No grand speech.
No dramatic confession.
Just silently staying by his side, keeping him alive until he was finally strong enough to breathe on his own.
That wasn't just beautiful storytelling...
That was love in its purest form. тЭдя╕ПтАНЁЯй╣ЁЯШн
Shocking.
Mumbai's richest clubs were happily taking huge membership fees and charging premium prices for food while serving people from dirty kitchens.
1) Cricket Club of India
Cockroaches, flies, expired food, fungus on vegetables, dirty storage, greasy kitchen, poor separation of veg and non veg food.
2) Willingdon Sports Club
Dirty kitchen, blocked drains, unhygienic staff, outdated food and water testing.
3) MIG Cricket Club
Running food operations without a valid FSSAI licence.
4) RK Juhu Gymkhana
Serious hygiene violations.
5) Aparna Juhu Gymkhana
Food safety violations.
Now the biggest question...
What the hell was FSSAI doing all these years?
If Maharashtra FDA under Tukaram Mundhe can expose all this in one drive, then what has FSSAI been doing for years?
The CEO of FSSAI should be replaced if this is how the country's top food regulator works.
Huge respect to Tukaram Mundhe for having the courage to touch powerful clubs instead of protecting them.
For all those young Indians protesting peacefully in Maharashtra, if the brutal bjp regime comes for you with police brutality, do connect with us on [email protected]
Also appealing to all the advocates who are sympathetic towards these young patriotic Indians, protesting for a better future, to connect with them or to us, and fight pro bono for them.
I think this government is clueless about how to handle public protests. I am not only talking about the current ongoing protests.
If the government had its ear to the ground, it should be able to identify public grievances early.
Even BJP supporters, along with everyone else, have been saying that Dharmendra Pradhan should go.
A competent technocrat needs to handle this ministry, and the government should explain to the student community how it will ensure that there are no paper leaks or evaluation messes like the ones that happened in CBSE in the future.
I feel this government has become completely insensitive to public sentiment.
The way the current protests have been handled shows that the government is clueless and has lost touch with reality.
Ultimately, those who suffer the most are our students- the future of our country.
How Smart People Get Ahead At Work!!!!!
1. Volunteer for the hard projects first.
2. Send updates before anyone asks.
3. Build friendships across every department.
4. Say no to work that drains you.
5. Ask for feedback often.
6. Fix small mistakes before they grow.
7. Dress like the role you want.
8. Read the company's goals closely.
9. Support your manager's priorities.
10. Take breaks so you don't burn out.
Two things are happening right now. People are doom scrolling 4-5 hours a day. Brains are rotten, foggy and fried. People cannot sit with a hard problem for 10 minutes.
People are using AI for everything. They cannot write a simple email without ChatGPT. They can't do basic math. They can't think independently. Let's see how these two feed each other.
The more you scroll, the more your brain rots. More your brain rots, more you need AI for basic stuff. More you use AI, less your brain works. Less your brain works, more it craves low effort dopamine.
So you scroll more. Brain rots further. You depend on AI even more. It is a self serving loop and it is accelerating. Please break this loop or you are doomed.
Zombies aren't coming. They are already here, scrolling endlessly.
This Mumbai monsoon feels so strange. It doesnтАЩt feel like the Mumbai monsoons we grew up with.
When it rains, itтАЩs pleasantly cool. But the moment the rain stops, the heat and humidity become almost unbearable.
Earlier, the entire monsoon season stayed cool. Some days, we wouldnтАЩt even need to switch on the fans.

A free advice to Mumbai mayor @TawdeRitu:
You don't need to travel with your social media team and cops holding your umbrella across the city in this time of crisis.
Allow @MumbaiPolice to do their job. You coordinate and ensure the babus are responding to citizen calls.
