On top of her education day job, caring for her kids at home and self-publishing a novel, Kadilak created the @burlingtonbuzz one year ago.

Ok @Apple Let me get this straight. My 9yo can download an app restricted to ages 17+ that costs SEVENTY DOLLARS. I can recognize the problem within hours and bring it to your attention, and you’re going to keep my money? That’s downright predatory.

This an app that costs $69.99. It is clearly labeled 17+. My kid has a minor account. A similar app for ages 14+ was downloaded at the same time for $49.99 and refunded no problem. Yet there’s no escalation pathway and no rationale for refunding one and not the other.
