Tesla Cybercab production officially started today. π
2026: ~24,000 units produced, exiting December at ~7,500/month.
Faster than the Model 3 ramp (no paint shop, fewer parts, smaller car).
Slower than Model Y (all-new platform AND all-new Unboxed process).
Apr: ~75 per month
May: ~300
Jun: ~700
Jul: ~1.2k
Aug: ~1.8k
Sep: ~2.8k
Oct: ~4.0k
Nov: ~5.5k
Dec: ~7.5k
Now the part TSLA bulls should care about π
Assume 100% of 2026 production goes into Tesla's own robotaxi fleet (no retail sales). At 22k operating vehicles, 150 miles/day, $1.25/mile, $0.40/mile op cost:
β’ Revenue run-rate: ~$1.5B
β’ EBIT margin: ~43% (no driver in the cost stack)
β’ OCF run-rate: ~$525M after-tax = ~8% of 2025 FCF
Musk said it himself: "agonizingly slow" before "insanely fast." 2026 is the slow part. 2027 is when the S-curve breaks.
