Another error we made with public transport is that we allowed them too close to homes. Every country I've been to with proper public transport you have to walk/cycle to board where they are. That keeps residentials liveable. In Kenya we want the boda/mats to come to our bedroom
The real tragedy of living in a third-world country is that you can do everything right and still struggle because the environment is designed to make ordinary things unnecessarily difficult.
It's reported that @cmwenda93 died from hypoxia resulting from respiratory depression due to an anaesthetic drug reaction. So who administered the propofol? Who monitored his breathing and vital signs? Who was responsible for managing his airway? And was the facility adequately equipped and staffed to manage an anaesthetic emergency?
These questions become even more urgent alongside the reported discrepancies in medication records and the disputed intubation invoice.
@KmpdcOfficial, will you clarify whether the anaesthetic care, personnel, records and facility met the applicable professional and regulatory standards?
@ODPP_KE, what is the status of the investigation?
Chris’s family deserves answers. #JusticeForChris
Read this and tell me how a family is supposed to find closure.
Christopher Mwenda @cmwenda93 walked into Meridian Hospital for a medical procedure. He died and the records raise questions that demand answers.
Emergency drugs were recorded at 10am, consent recorded at 11:20am, A perioperative checklist completed before his recorded admission. An anaesthetist reportedly invoiced for intubation but denied performing it.
These are not questions our family should have to ask forever.
@KmpdcOfficial@ODPP_KE, who is accountable for establishing what happened?
@NationAfrica has put these discrepancies on record. Now we need answers, not the silence that gets louder please.

This can happen in any African city, overnight.
All it requires is leadership that does not give a fuck. The end result is better for everyone, even those who were removed.

This is a sad story. @ODPP_KE why aren’t you doing anything about this?

I like how Parklanders are moving, other residents associations need to follow suit, a better Nairobj needs constant civic engagement not just “voting better”
Fellas, just take a minute to read this
- We collect a total of 3 trillion in ordinary revenue
- Last year education was allocated about 700b but in reality they actually need 1.2 trillion as indicated below ( 40% )
- Tsc alone is asking for 500B for salaries
Is this sustainable?
