Testing e20 fuel in an open steel dish to explain engine combustion is like blowing air through a straw to demonstrate how a jet engine works. It’s a cheap party trick that completely ignores pressure, fuel ratios, and mechanical tolerance. It’s pure school-science-fair theatricals designed to mislead anyone who doesn’t know how an internal combustion engine actually works.

An engine cylinder is not an open plate. It operates under massive pressure, high velocity, and precise timing - not a open-air diffusion burn.

Here is why that dish demo is absolute nonsense:

1. Open Flames vs. Engine Physics:
Petrol leaves soot in an open dish because it lacks oxygen in open air. Ethanol carries its own oxygen, so of course it burns clearer on a plate! But inside an engine, air is forcibly mixed with fuel. A clean burn on a steel dish means zero for what happens inside a pressurized combustion chamber.

2. Running "Lean" Means Higher Harmful Emissions:
Pure petrol needs a 14.7:1 air-fuel ratio, while E20 needs ~13.8:1. If your car isn't tuned specifically for E20, the engine runs "lean" (too much air, not enough fuel). Lean combustion spikes cylinder temperatures, which actually increases dangerous Nitrogen Oxide {NOx) emissions - the exact toxic stuff that causes urban smog. Plus it also releases carcinogenic aldehydes.

3. Damaged Injectors = Dirty Burn Later
Ethanol is a solvent that corrodes non-E20 rubber hoses, seals, and aluminum pumps. When corroded fuel injectors start leaking or spraying unevenly, fuel atomization fails. The result? Incomplete combustion, engine misfires, and heavy soot - destroying the very "clean burn" you were promised.

4. Burning More Fuel to Go the Same Distance:
Ethanol has 33% less energy density than petrol. E20 forces your vehicle to burn more fuel just to cover the same mileage. Burning more liters of fuel overall while pretending it's "green" because of a kitchen-dish magic trick is top-tier political spin.

Stop using high school science experiments to justify forcing uncalibrated fuel into millions of non-compliant engines. A clean flame on a plate isn't engineering - it's propaganda. And frankly, this desperate defence of e20 is now not funny anymore but plain ridiculous.

2. The Forced Verification SMS: The malicious code forces the victim's phone to draft and send a hidden, encrypted UPI registration token (like the cryptic HDFCUPI... text seen at the bottom of the screenshot).
3. The Remote Device Bind: The scammers enter the victim's phone number into multiple banking apps on *their own burner devices*. When the victim's phone broadcasts that encrypted SMS token, NPCI systems mistakenly validate the *scammer's* phone as the legitimate primary device.
4. The Multi-Bank Explosion: Once the phone number is bound to the scammer's handset, automated scripts fetch every bank account linked to that number (HDFC, Axis, ICICI, etc.) in a matter of minutes.

If you or someone you know receives a sudden flood of UPI activation messages:

* Dial *99# Immediately: From the affected SIM, dial this universal USSD code. Select the option to Block UPI or Disable UPI Profile. This works instantly across all banks without needing internet.
* Call 1930: Reach out to the National Cyber Crime Helpline immediately to report active device-binding fraud and freeze downstream channels.
* Check SMS Forwarding: Dial *#21# to ensure the hacker hasn't secretly set up call or SMS forwarding. If they have, dial ##002# to wipe it out.
* De-register Your Apps: If you still have access to your Google Pay, PhonePe, or BHIM apps, go to settings and select De-register UPI Profile. This forces a termination of all external sessions.

THE ETHANOL FEEDSTOCK TRAP

Maize and sugarcane acreage is under pressure, so India may have to depend more heavily on rice for ethanol this year.

Rice already contributes around 26.8% of ethanol feedstock. And the government has earmarked 72 lakh tonnes of rice from its stocks for distilleries.

Think about that for a second.

A fuel policy that becomes dependent on crops is automatically exposed to:

• Monsoon failure
• Drought and water stress
• Falling crop yields
• Food price inflation
• Competition between food and fuel
• Rising input costs for farmers
• Volatility in agricultural markets
• Pressure on government food stocks

We are taking a food grain and putting it into fuel tanks.

Today, the government says rice stocks are comfortable. Fine.

But what happens when the monsoon fails, yields fall and food prices start rising?

Do we feed people first, or protect the E20 target?

And rice isn’t the only concern. Sugarcane is extremely water intensive. Maize needs land, water and fertiliser.

So the more we tie our fuel policy to agriculture, the more our “energy security” becomes dependent on farmers, monsoons, groundwater and crop yields.

We wanted to reduce dependence on imported crude.

But are we simply shifting that dependence from oil fields to farms?

A fuel target is a policy number.

Food isn’t.

When someone who wasn’t even part of the Petroleum Ministry kept promoting and championing ethanol, presenting it to the nation almost like he had discovered some miracle fuel, did that not become personal for millions of vehicle owners?

It is our vehicles, our fuel bills, our mileage, our maintenance costs and ultimately our money that are affected by this policy.

So when citizens question the person who aggressively championed the policy, that isn’t a “personal accusation.” That is accountability.

And if the policy is as flawless as claimed, then why fear questions? Put the ARAI report, fuel data, compatibility studies and all relevant evidence in the public domain.

Bhai, sawaal hum poochhenge. Evidence bhi maangenge. Aur jawaab bhi lenge.
Personal nahi hai … public policy hai, public money hai, public interest hai.

हालांकि सत्य लँगड़ा होने के कारण एक तरफ झुका हुआ होता था। इसी दौरान एक शो में राजीव त्यागी ने उन्हें बोल्ड एन्ड ब्यूटीफुल कहा था।

यह नाम उनसे ऐसा चिपक गया कि दुनिया मे कोई भी, किसी को, कहीं भी- बी एन्ड डी कहे, तो उसके जेहन में अमीश देवगन की तसवीर आती।

लाइव टीवी पर इतनी सहजता से टाइटल हासिल कर लेना सामान्य बात नहीं। अब तो सोशल मीडिया पर भी लोग प्यार से “Gullu B&D” कहकर पुकारते हैं।

हिन्दू मुस्लिम डिबेट के दौर में अमीश देवगन ने नए आयाम छुए। वे निडरता से सूफी संत ख्वाजा मोइनुद्दीन चिश्ती को “लूटेरा चिश्ती” कह गए। बाद मे FIR होने पर क्षमा मांग ली।

मई 2020 में कुर्ला में एक मस्जिद में वाली लॉकडाउन के दौरान मुसलमानों की भीड़ नमाज की खबर चलाई, जो झूठी निकलने पर माफी मांग ली।

इससे प्रमाणित होता है कि वह एक विनम्र शख्शियत है, और माफी मांगने में ज्यादा समय नही लगाते।

वे एक देशभक्त पत्रकार थे।

अपनी डिबेट में सप्ताह मे 3 दिन पाकिस्तान को घुटने पर ले आते। उसकी कमर तोड़ देते थे, और कराची लाहौर में धुंआ धुंआ करवा देते थे। अपने अंतिम वर्षों में कम से कम डेढ़ सौ बार उन्होंने पाकिस्तान को दिवालिया भी करवा दिया था।

दरअसल अमिश देवगन सिर्फ एंकर नहीं, एक संस्था थे। जहां अर्णब अंग्रेजी में जोर से चिल्लाते हैं, वहां कम पढ़े लिखे भक्तों के लिए अमिश जी, आसान हिंदी में किफायती संस्करण पेश करते हैं।

दरअसल वे महान पत्रकार थे।

जिन्होंने दिखाया कि पत्रकारिता का असली मतलब है- सवाल पूछना लेकिन सही सवाल, सही समय पर,

और सही पार्टी की तरफ से..

देश के एक तबके के लिए वह अफीम की डली थे। जिसे उनकी लत लग चुकी है। उसे हर शाम किसी B&D की चीत्कार सुने बगैर नींद नही आती।

भोजन पचता नही,
अजीर्ण हो जाता है।

तो सूना स्टूडियो कराह रहा है।
