With Argentina, people only remember the headline robberies… Messi’s handball against the Netherlands, the Salah penalty, Embolo’s red card.

But the real damage is in the smaller decisions they get every five minutes. A soft foul here, a missed booking there, another attack killed. It slowly frustrates and psychologically drains the opposition.

It doesn’t feel random. It feels perfectly orchestrated.
