Я зробив це фото 13 лютого 2015 року у вже оточеному Дебальцево.
На момент цього фото Сергій, чия кров на прапорі уже годину як загинув. Тіло його вивозили на танку, але в бою десь загубили.

Цей закривавлений прапор належить українцю, моєму земляку та моєму другу Карпо Сергію, який родом із Лиманщини з півночі Донеччини.

Наш, жовто-синій прапор, від крові українських солдатів стає червоно-чорним.

Пам'ятайте про таку ціну нашого прапора!

Hi, my name is Vova Kosmos.
I am from Ukraine.
I am a Ukrainian soldier.

In this video you will see real footage from the war.

These are not staged shots.
This is real life.

The video was recorded by an evacuation team on a GoPro camera when they pulled me out from the battlefield in the Zaporizhzhia region during the counteroffensive assault.

At that moment I did not know what would happen next.
I only knew one thing — we were fighting for our country.

From this moment I start to openly show the life of a Ukrainian war veteran.
The life after the war.
The pain, recovery, strength and the search for meaning in continuing to live.

I am also the initiator of the “Renaissance” movement and the head of the public organization “Renaissance – The Gentlemen’s Club” (Revival of Gentlemen).

Together with my team we are creating the first bi-national PTSD support project in Ukraine.

But this project is not only for war veterans.

My experience in the Scandinavian countries and the Ukrainian fighting spirit taught me one important truth:
PTSD is not only carried by soldiers.

It also lives in the hearts of civilians, mothers, families and everyone whose life has been touched by this war.

That is why we are building this project — to help people rebuild their lives after trauma.

Our mission is simple:

To save lives.

I understand what I am doing, how I am doing it and where this path leads.

Thank you to everyone who supports this journey.
