There is fear and intimidation in our area. When families object, bouncers are allegedly brought in, and residents report that stones and soda bottles are thrown at them. We also fear we are not receiving fair protection from the local police.

Homes and small family businesses in our area have been demolished one by one. Only 2–3 businesses remain. We are deeply concerned about the alleged involvement of builders and politically influential persons, including individuals associated with the BJP.
