Get well soon the freedom fighter Dr Hon Kizza Besigye. You managed illness among the NRA fighters but also the communities around. As the outside wing we smuggled drugs from Nairobi. I remember putting drugs in a clean petrol tanker. Get well soon our hero. @Winnie_Byanyima

Sedatives?
Mood stabilizers?
Sleeping tablets?

Or silence, taken daily.

Peace,

or a prescription labeled
"take after every interaction."

Keep your "good heart."

This is about your side effects.

Are people safe around you?

Is their heart safe,
or on silent mode?

Is their mind safe,
or documenting evidence?

Is their future safe,
or shrinking to fit your chaos?

Is their body safe,
or learning fear where it should rest?

Let’s not pretend.

Do people pray after meeting you,

to say thank you?

Or to submit your name under "urgent"?

Some of you are not relationships.

You are a before-and-after.

You don't break people loudly.

You edit them.

Softly.
Neatly.
Professionally.

Until "healing," "boundaries,:and "space"
stop sounding like words,

and start sounding like survival tools.

You felt like peace.

Now they need recovery.

So answer slowly.

Are you really safe?

Or are you the reason someone needed
God, a doctor, a lawyer, and therapy
in the same season?
