#1. Leslie Knope: Before leaving her house, she dons her cape and wears a mask, face shield, & gloves to carry a binder with Covid related protocol, plus an extra mask as needed.

Last night Ron Rash introduced @ASClapsaddle for a keynote and something he said struck me. He said that the paradox of a good ending is that the reader can feel the story tightening down but at the same time their world feels like it’s opening up.
In all my years of singleness and aunthood, I've never taken much time to imagine single Jesus at a family dinner surrounded by his siblings and their very possible (probable?) spouses and children. How has Uncle Jesus never occurred to me?
Not a full minute after we got home, Tanner walked into the living room with TWO spoons and our Jeni’s ice cream from the freezer.

It fills me with such pride and joy to announce that my version of Speak Now will be out July 7 (just in time for July 9th, iykyk 😆) I first made Speak Now, completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20. The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions and wild wistfulness. I love this album because it tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying and crashing… and living to speak about it. With six extra songs I’ve sprung loose from the vault, I absolutely cannot wait to celebrate Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) with you on July 7th. Pre-order now at https://t.co/m3KNl71qrY 💜💜💜
"Specifically, for a lot of us, it doesn't always feel like you're banning the book itself. Sometimes it feels like you're banning the people that those books are about, that you're saying that those lives are lives that should only exist in the shadows."-Jason Reynolds #bookbans
“In the middle of the ocean, there was a girl who lived upon a rock.
This was not an ocean like the one you have imagined.
Nor was the rock like the one you have imagined.
The girl, however, might be as you imagine—assuming you imagined her as thoughtful, soft-spoken, and overly fond of collecting cups.”
