@mom_of_littles One comment said men have a mental load too of remembering oil changes, and moving ahead in their careers. Sorry but as a working mom, I ALSO have THOSE things as well. Why can't dad share the parenting mental load? Can he only handle his own and not any of his kids?

@mom_of_littles It's not just doctors appts & gifts. It's packing your own clothes for vaca & all of your kid's items. It's coordinating activities with nap times. It's knowing when your toddler last pooped, and how much miralax to give & when. Those are PARENTING things, not just mom things

@wife2sirhusband Yes, we have two hampers at the end of our bed. Not hard to understand lol he does his laundry, sheets/towels, and 90% of the time our kids laundry, who also reach have their own hampers. I do mine separate because I prefer to.

Friends names...does he not ever listen to them talk? Yikes. Doctors names? Can he not handle taking care of them?

@aander1987 @Parkerlawyer Yea I do know those answers, because we communicate. We discussed roof replacements together, because it affected OUR house and OUR finances. WE decided when to get a new roof, and who to use. Same with our AC system, fence around the yard, etc. And he knows our kids stuff too

@JamesEsses Nope. Their use of pronouns doesn't affect me, except sometimes in a positive way to avoid asking to speak with a Mr. Someone, when they are in fact Ms. (Unisex type names like Jaime)

@MattWalshBlog The thing is...if a parent at a nearby table gives their kid a tablet, it affects me like... not at all. Crazy right. I usually pay attention to my own meal instead of judging strangers. Maybe it's just me though 🤷‍♀️ (and yes, my own kids are screen free at dinner)

@jaldy_ @This_Here_Girl It's not extra money. Tenant pays agreed upon rent to landlord. That money now belongs to landlord, outright. Landlord can do what they want with it. Gift it back, keep it, donate it, etc. It's landlord's money.
