@A_May_MD@bioinvestor24 Not sure it makes sense from health economic perspective given neoadj ici also superior to adj ick. Don't see it getting reimbursed in europe

It was 350k originally, brought down to 100k per dose (8-9 doses per patient). Note this is biontech not MRNA and cost can go lower with upscaling but still very expensive
@timrpeterson@grok Still missing the point. There was human clinical trial evidence suggesting that targeting this pathway reduced MACE. Not everything is genetics. Hammer meet nail etc
@timrpeterson There's a whole series of clinical studies like cantos in this area. You focus on the supportive genetic evidence because that's all you know. Missing the bigger picture.
@ZeeContrarian1 Your LLM is hallucinating. I assume that's the "we". The trial hasn't stopped early and the results are not known behind that the primary and secondary are positive.
@BiotechObserver The primary endpoint was time to first compex at 12 weeks with a HR of 0.6. this is ambitious for a novel surrogate endpoint which has yet to be validated. A HR of 0.65 would still constitute lack of efficacy. They also recruited in some odd countries. Let's wait and see
@BiotechObserver AZD4604 1b in mild asthma not on ICS. AJAX - mod-severe asthma on ICS. More obstructed patients might have worse lung deposition, ICS may blunt the JAKi effect. Ajax primary was 12 week time to compex surrogate an unproven measure. I don't consider Ajax bearish for ABBV
@timrpeterson You dont understand the realities of drug development. I notice armchair critics of Zeus focus on their own field of expertise to frame their "told you so" post hoc. Hammer nail analogy etc. saying patients were sicker than UK biobank volunteers as critique is ludicrous, come on.
@hannibalspeaks Pretty standard to start up activities for a study "at risk" before the catalyst which gates the study to begin in earnest is confirmed, speeds up timelines at program level
@timrpeterson Trials hit with less genetic evidence all the time. Ppl coming out the woodwork now, where are the ppl pre topline saying the genetic evidence isn't good enough and the trial fails? It was a big swing and it missed. Disagree with hindsight "oh but if you knew X it was obvious"
