@CarymaRules Much as the drill makes me wince, especially since as a drill team member when I was in the 51 Sqardron, RCAC, I would rather have these people good at firing that big gun but nor marching rather than vice versa!
Leader of the free world, Prime Minister Mark Carney, explaining to Trump what his new role is as the Premier of South Canada until we appoint somebody more qualified. 🇨🇦
After years of dictatorship hell, with troops and the National Guard deployed against American cities and citizens for immigration raids and protests, defying court orders, targeting political opponents, and unleashing federal agents on his own people, Canada is finally stepping in to liberate our southern neighbors from the oppression. No more troops in the streets. No more chaos. No more strongman rule.
New Canadians will now enjoy:
Lower inflation. Canada is running around 2 to 2.5 percent while the US has been spiking higher with recent prints near 4 percent plus.
Universal healthcare. Publicly funded coverage for everyone with no surprise medical bills or massive deductibles.
Longer life expectancy. Canada sits at about 82 to 83 years compared to around 79 to 80 in the US.
A stronger social safety net. More affordable housing supports, paid parental leave, and lower out of pocket costs.
Much safer streets. Dramatically lower gun violence rates.
Welcome to the Great White North, eh? 🍁 What a time to be Canadian! Freedom has arrived.
@RogerHodgson Ottawa, Canada's Capitol radio station CHEZ 106, in 1999 voting Crime of the Century as the album of the century. Then the band/label sending the station a palette of the record to give away to their listeners.
@SkyXFunNext@KaterynaLis We need Ukrainian drone technology because it is the best in the world. Did you not hear about the 10 Ukrainian drone pilots defeating two NATO battalions?

@MarkJCarney@ZelenskyyUa Wow, the Russian Trolls are out in force tonight! Ukraine fights against the darkness, and those who honour the light are supporting them.
Manitoba Premier @WabKinew is interviewed by CTV's Mike Le Couteur, and makes it uncomfortable for the interviewer. We find out that the CTV host is not allowed to say "Epstein file" on air! American Politics is affecting our journalism here in Canada!

@ianhanomansing Was there a copy of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" on board and/or did the listen to it during their transit of the far side of the Moon?
@OccupyDemocrats I find it funny how the Conservatives never refused to accept a floor crosser, but cry like a baby when they are on the other end of the deal.
During the Apollo 11 landing, the Apollo Guidance Computer briefly became overloaded and triggered 1201 and 1202 alarms, which meant it was running out of processing time to complete all its tasks.
The main cause was that the rendezvous radar was left on in an incorrect position, so it kept feeding extra, unnecessary data into the computer during the descent phase.
The computer itself was not crashing or rebooting. Instead, it was designed with a priority system, so when it became overloaded it automatically dropped low priority tasks and focused only on the most critical functions needed to land safely. This is why it was able to keep working even under stress.
At Mission Control, engineers quickly recognized the alarm codes and confirmed that the situation was still safe, giving the “go” to continue the landing. Meanwhile, Neil Armstrong took partial manual control in the final moments to steer away from a rough boulder field, but the computer remained actively assisting throughout the descent.
In the end, the overload did not stop the system. It actually demonstrated one of the earliest successful examples of a real time fault tolerant computer handling unexpected input under extreme conditions.
