We warmly welcome the release of our 10 Baloch students who were forcibly disappeared from Rawalpindi, after being enforcelly disappeared by Pakistani forces. This development brings relief, yet serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing, systematic human rights abuses perpetrated against the Baloch people.
@BSCIslamabd vehemently condemns the heinous practice of enforced disappearances, which constitutes a grave violation of human rights, fundamental freedoms, and international law. This impunity must end.
And We postpone our exam and class boycott and the Sit-In Camp which was to be held in front of NUML Islamabad for tommorrow.
#EndEnforcedDisappearances
Today, In the 4154th meeting of the 142nd Session, the @UN Human Rights Committee reviewed the situation in Pakistan. They addressed the issue of enforced disappearances in Pakistan, expressing particular concern about the widespread practice in Balochistan.
During the session, they also mentioned my case regarding the Pakistani authorities preventing me from traveling to Geneva. I am very grateful to the UNHRC officials for highlighting my case and raising concerns about enforced disappearances in Pakistan specifically focusing on Balochistan.
Today, I was stopped at the Karachi airport immigration counter today while trying to fly to Masqat, Oman. I was informed by FIA officials that a letter from the home department stated that the Balochistan Government had placed my name on the Exit Control list. I have been kept waiting in a room with security for four hours and I am not allowed to move.
My passport is not being returned to me, and no proof is being shown to me on what basis I am not allowed to travel.
All political parties have refused to accept my resignation, which I find ironic because I’ve already resigned and have no desire to remain in this parliament. They think they can make it up to me, convince me to change my mind, and apologize for their mistakes. But don’t apologize to me—apologize to the people of Balochistan. Acknowledge the pain you've caused by taking their loved ones. Say sorry to Sami and Mahrang for assaulting them when they simply wanted to speak. I am not just Akhtar Mengal; I am a part of the people. When you make amends with them, you'll make amends with me.
I hold no personal animosity towards anyone, but my conscience compelled me to make this decision. I’ve tried to make everyone understand, but they refuse to address Balochistan’s issues.
I was not in Pakistan and came to rid myself of a burden that has weighed on me for months. Now, I am free. I hope others realize this before it’s too late. I write this as I board my flight. Goodbye, parliament—may we meet again when the rule of law prevails!
Pakistan🇵🇰: @amnesty is alarmed at the use of unlawful and unnecessary force against the participants of the Baloch National Gathering by security forces yesterday. It is a blatant violation of people’s right to freedom of peaceful assembly.
On 27 June, Frontier Corps reportedly fired on unarmed and peaceful protestors in Mustang, Balochistan, resulting in 14 injuries, several among them serious. A complete internet shutdown has also been imposed in Gwadar, hindering the flow of information in and outside the region.
Amnesty International calls on the Pakistan authorities to immediately lift the internet shutdown in Balochistan, and fulfil its obligations under domestic and international human rights law to facilitate people’s right to peaceful protest by lifting the road blockades on the way to Gwadar to allow freedom of movement for protestors.

Before engaging in propaganda against @MahrangBaloch_, state-sponsored journalists really need to do some research. At least, Google before tweeting against Dr. Mahrang Baloch. She never stated during the Baloch women protest that her brother had been abducted. Instead, in previous interviews, she mentioned that her brother was abducted but later was released.
The participation of people who are affected by state oppression is increasing day by day in our mass movement.
Every human being is joining this mass movement with the hope that maybe the world will listen to our voice and the Baloch genocide will end.
Now, it depends on the world whether they will support the oppressor or the oppressed.
