The enforced disappearance of the father of @DrNaseemBaluch , Chairman of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), along with other family members, is part of the ongoing policy of collective punishment in Balochistan. Against these injustices, the BNM Chairman is leading an international campaign, representing the Baloch nation on the global stage.

His family has been continuously targeted solely because of his political activities. In the past as well, his close relatives have fallen victim to enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings.
Despite being a peaceful political leader, Dr. Naseem Baloch himself has been subjected to enforced disappearance on two occasions.

He is a leader who, through personal sacrifices, unwavering struggle, and proven capability, has earned respect and a position of leadership within the Baloch National Movement.

We will confront Pakistan’s oppression on every front with steadfast resistance.

Party members , with full confidence in the leadership of Dr. Naseem Baloch and the party’s institutions, will face every challenge resolutely.

State repression cannot divert us from the struggle for freedom.

I am deeply saddened by the demise of Mama Qadeer Baloch, a towering symbol of resistance, patience, and unwavering commitment to human rights in Balochistan. For sixteen long years, he maintained a token hunger strike camp, turning personal grief into a collective struggle against enforced disappearances and state violence.

Mama Qadeer’s historic on-foot long march of nearly 2,500 kilometers from Quetta to Karachi and onward to Islamabad shook the conscience of the world and exposed the suffering of thousands of Baloch families. Despite old age, ill health, and relentless state pressure, he never bowed, never retreated, and never abandoned the families of the disappeared.

His passing is an irreparable loss for the Baloch nation and for all those who stand for justice, dignity, and human rights. The best tribute to Mama Qadeer Baloch is not in words alone, but in action. It is now our collective responsibility to keep his mission alive, to continue raising our voices against enforced disappearances, and to stand with the victims until justice is served.

May his soul rest in peace, and may his struggle continue through us all.
