@donnelly_b Well - if you go a few blocks east (Bloor and Pacific) or north on High Park/Pacific, you will see highrises. Clearly there has been development on this stretch, the Bloor/Pacific complex was built in the past few years.
@ItsGrahamParker Glad they mentioned Mona Lisa's Sister, a personal favorite that has indeed stood the test of time more than others more popular at the time. Saw GP at the Dave Edmunds Rock n Roll revue ...

@NTWANfc@NepentheZ xG of .53 for England tells the tale ...you could argue that they might have added more on the counter after they dropped back, but that is a risky bet. England had limited pressure in the game, got a goal on a great play and then became passive (Tuchel's words).
@Tor_Barstad@SamaHoole I always wonder if anecdotal comments about size (especially for enemy combatants) were for propaganda - beating fearsome huge Norsemen sounds so much better.
@EtanBoss@nordicboy24@Trevornoah had a good documentary about this https://t.co/ZMc7vCBND3. His take - like @landondonovan - soccer in NA was built around middle class paid academy models, vs grass roots free models world wide where scouting talent is a business model that pays for coaching.
@zoidz00@ColinUdoh@Trevornoah made a similar point in his documentary https://t.co/z56W4oJFOI - soccer in the US was built around paid academy teams, not talent scouting that works in less affluent countries.
@Raptorsgirl2@justBlakePrice You gotta be careful about the same over-estimation that messed up the US. Concacaf good, but not Uefa good. The next step up is a big one!
@Prominent_Bryan Fifa rankings - England 4, Morocco 6, Belgium 9. USA had the easiest opponent in RD-16 and looked the worst. XG of. 67. Mexico xG of 1.88, Canada xG of. 84.
