Many people think, "I have rules" and "I already understand enough about trading."
Then why are you still not consistent?
Why do you think your emotions are the problem?

If you still see a loss taken according to your rules as a failure to avoid, it is natural to want to escape that loss.
What you need to reconsider is not your emotions, but the meaning you assign to the loss.
Even if you can explain that "losses are part of the system," if your actions still aim to avoid them, that understanding has not yet taken root.

When you become a mature trader and look back on where you are now, you will think,
"I understood nothing at all. My intellectual understanding was not even understanding. Emotions were never the problem."

Be humble and face the gaps in your understanding that your actions reveal.
Do not let "I already understand" stop you from growing.

Having a great instrument does not make you a great musician.

No matter how great your system is, it means nothing if the person using it lacks consistency and cannot follow the rules.

Conversely, if you truly have a system with an edge, all you need to do is execute it consistently.

But that consistency is created by "the kind of preparation you have done."
It is not a personality problem or a nervous system problem.

This is important, so I will say it again.
"The kind of preparation you have done" creates your consistency.

If you still lack consistency, there is probably something fundamentally wrong with your preparation, or it simply is not enough.
Conversely, that means this is the part you need to get right.
