🚨 EXPOSED: ANDY BURNHAM HANDED 55 MILLION POUNDS OF TAXPAYER CASH TO MAN CITY OWNERS!
Remember when Burnham panicked on national television last month to fiercely defend Manchester City against Premier League financial cheating charges?
Now I have the official paper trail explaining exactly why he acts like a dedicated public relations agent for the United Arab Emirates!
Official records prove that during his time as mayor, Burnham personally chaired the meetings that handed 55 million pounds in taxpayer loans to Jersey based property companies ultimately controlled by Man City owner Sheikh Mansour.
This cash was drained straight out of a 300 million pound state housing fund supposedly reserved for struggling local developers.
Instead of helping British builders construct homes, Burnham rubber stamped a massive taxpayer loan for the Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates!
Sheikh Mansour is one of the richest men on the planet and could secure private corporate finance in thirty seconds.
Yet Burnham gave a foreign billionaire preferential access to a public cash machine funded entirely by your hard earned wages!!!!!
Labour politicians are bleeding the domestic working class dry with brutal taxes while secretly operating a VIP fast lane for Middle Eastern royalty.
Retweet this investigation immediately to expose Andy Burnham and demand a full parliamentary inquiry into this Man City money scandal. 🇬🇧🔥
I think the Red Cartel is a myth used by underachieving club supporters.
Liverpool didn't win a league for 30 years.
United similar
Arsenal 22 and never won a European Champions Cup
Chelsea were a run down shitheap run by a man putting barbed wire up.
City were a club you just had to beat to get where you needed to go.
Villa finished second in the early Prem and never capitalised despite always been run prudently
Newcastle won nothing for 70 years with plenty of fans and Prem money.
Leeds spent half of their existence outside of the top flight
Yes, there are romantic and historic reasons why Liverpool, United and Arsenal "caught fire" and imaginations of huge numbers. It's why people buy iphones, Ferraris, want to live in London, New York or Paris. Some things transcend the normal.
The 3 big clubs aren't all wine and roses either. Glazers are a cancer on the club, FSG and LFC fans butt heads often, likewise Kroenkes. But to suggest they have some golden key to unlock corrupt practice over 5 decades on their favour, there just isn't the evidence for it.
Do I believe every club should start a season having a capable squad which I'm theory could win the league? Yes.
Do I think the current financial rules punish some clubs because of the corruption of others? Yes.
Do I think every club should spend whatever they like? No, because of the shitshow we're seeing today.
City and Chelsea when I was a kid were second division also rans and a Steve Mackenzie thunderbastard v Spurs. And that's cool, loved both.
But the "Red Cartel" trophy cabinet is real, and won fairly and squarely at home and abroad. Rome, Barcelona, White Hart Lane, etc etc.
Chelsea, City ( and other clubs now) feel 60 years of being crap entitles them to a turbo charged catch up programme based on state ownership, oligarchy and alleged serious financial wrongdoing.
Those clubs should all come together and force the Prem to change all sorts of rules. They don't. Why? They all look after number 1.
Sunderland spent 8 YEARS in the Championship. One season back in the Premier League and they’re already playing in Europe.
Brighton are in Europe.
Bournemouth are in Europe — a club that was practically on its knees when Eddie Howe took over.
Crystal Palace are in Europe AGAIN after beating Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
And somehow we’re still being told the Premier League is a “closed shop”? 😂
Look at what’s happening:
Brighton went 2-0 down to Man United in the Carabao Cup and came back to win 3-2.
Three days later, they absolutely dismantled Arsenal.
Brentford put three past Chelsea that same weekend.
Hull came up from the Championship and have already beaten United and taken a point at Stamford Bridge. They’re sitting 8th.
Where exactly is this “no chance for smaller clubs” argument coming from?
And I genuinely don't understand the “red cartel” argument either.
Arsenal waited 22 years for another league title.
Liverpool have won two league titles in roughly four decades.
United haven't won the Premier League in 13 years.
So what exactly is PSR supposedly protecting these clubs from? 😂
Trophies?
Because over the last decade, the clubs collecting the most silverware have been Manchester City and Chelsea — the same clubs at the centre of major financial-rule controversies.
Yet somehow we're supposed to believe the problem is everyone else.
At some point, you have to take responsibility.
“We had no choice.”
Yes, you did.
Brighton had the same choice.
So did Brentford.
So did Bournemouth.
They built gradually, developed players, recruited intelligently and stayed within the framework.
And now they're competing at the top end of English football.
Maybe the problem isn't that the door is closed.
Maybe some clubs simply don't like the fact that everyone has to walk through the same door now. 😭
PSR hasn't stopped competition.
If anything, look at the clubs breaking through and tell me the competition is dead.
The excuses need to stop. 😤
This absolute fuckin mess @TheAdrianDurham is literally live on air sympathising with what Man City have actually done. This station pundits are getting worse and worse every day. It’s fuckin embarrassing. They cheated you mug. It’s been on record saying they can do way they want
I've read a lot about this football drinking proposal today and, for the most part, it's been rejected outright by fans, police and reporters alike.
Two or three people have labelled it as classist or snobbery, but that misses the mark wholesale.
There has long been a problem in British football with booze and drugs. We don't even have to go back very far to the Euro final in 2020 where thousands of drunken fans rioted and tore down parts of the Wembley neighbourhood.
The 80s was mired in rampant hooliganism fuelled by beer and cocaine.
Snobbery? No, realism.
The link between football and domestic violence is not coincidental either. By offering fans the chance to drink even more than usual, the government is displaying a disastrous lack of focus in this crucial area.
A study in 2021 showed a 47% INCREASE in police-reported alcohol-related domestic abuse following an England victory at a World Cup or European Championship.
Football, alcohol and domestic abuse are inextricably linked.
Baroness Casey's review into the disastrous Euro final listed many failures but in one of her recommendations its states.
=> Enhanced enforcement of bans on alcohol consumption on public transport and in other designated public spaces.
The comparisons are not valid between sports either. By saying that booze is allowed at rugby or cricket is not a valid argument — neither sport has a history of violence or thuggery — football very much does.
Burnham seems to have punted this idea towards 'normal blokes' who like doing 'normal things' [h/t @russell_kane].
But in doing so, he's alienating families, women and religious groups who are all part of the newer more modern demographic in football crowds.
Yes, things have moved on since the 80s, but as always, they can easily be ruined by that small minority of pissed up idiots who seem to be making a comeback across all sections of life.
Let's not be dragged backwards. If you can't manage 90 mins without a beer at football, well, perhaps Prime Minister, you have a problem.
@BenKentish Absolute bollocks. Judgemental and arrogant. I’m no snob. I’m a football fan. I go home and away every week. I enjoy a beer.
There are enough idiots there sober that spoil things for the majority.
Go to Twickenham & the world’s biggest pub, people constantly squeezing past you for a pint & a pee, disturbing the game all the time. Football fans are fine in my experience with a pre HT FT pint.
And have idiots chucking pints in the air when goals are scored like they do in fan parks and some pubs?
What about safe standing areas?
I'm a season ticket holder and like a pint but prefer 45 minutes without a drink to a beer shampoo and clothes rinse
https://t.co/vsQnrCJ9jp
@MikeWaltersMGM@andyburnham As a football fan who enjoys the odd pint, I agree with you 100%. There are enough idiots in the crowd at matches without fuelling them with beer. Season ticket holder who goes home and away.
The outrage from Labour at Reform pocketing £72million from a couple of crypto guys makes me laugh.
Do you know how much trade unions have paid to Burnham’s mob between 2006-2025?
£200million in donations and affiliation fees. Yes £200million.
For that money they run the country when there’s a Labour administration.
And you wonder why we have a new Employment Rights Act where you can now have sick pay from Day One ( the number of week one sickness has rocketed) and maternity rights from Day One which means new employees are turning up having just been hired to announce they will shortly be away for a year.
Almost impossible to fire the most criminal of employees without giving them a payoff because they know dimwitted employment tribunal judges are on their side.
Our nation is bankrupt because it’s at the beck and call of the unions and there £200million.
Never forget it.
🚨🗣️ 🇫🇷 Arsène Wenger on what he achieved at Arsenal during 20 years with a smaller financial budget:
“We won three championships, seven FA Cups and seven Charity Shields.”
“We finished second five times and third five times, while finishing in the top four for 20 consecutive years.”
“We achieved that while having much less money than many of our competitors.”
“People naturally always want more, and that is understandable.”
“But Arsenal became a respected club throughout the world because of its football, its values, its treatment of young players and the way the club behaved.” ❤️🔴⚪️
🚨🚨 BREAKING: Gary Neville Ends the Vinícius Jr. Debate With One Line
🗣️ Gary Neville:
“People are saying Vinícius Jr. rejected Arsenal. You can’t lose what you never had.”
“The bigger story is that Arsenal were even in the conversation. A few years ago, nobody would’ve believed a player of Vinícius’ calibre would seriously be linked with a move to the Emirates.”
“Whether the deal happened or not, Arsenal have shown they’re no longer the ‘small club’ some people still claim they are. What Mikel Arteta, Andrea Berta and the ownership have built has changed the perception of the club completely.”
“The world’s biggest stars are now willing to listen to Arsenal, and that’s a sign of how far they’ve come. You don’t attract elite players without becoming an elite club.”

Today I join others from across our game and call for Gianni Infantino to resign as FIFA President.
Infantino has debased the office that he promised to elevate. He has lied, deceived and tried to feather his own nest at the expense of the game he is supposed to serve.
He has lost the support of his senior staff, his closest advisers, the vast majority of people who devote their lives to this sport and even, it would seem, the FIFA Peace Prize winner.
It is too late to save his dignity but it is not too late to save football. He should go. Now.

🚨 Martin Odegaard Sends Heartfelt Message to Arsenal’s World Champions 🇪🇸🏆 :
🗣️ “I want to send a huge congratulations to David, Martín, and Mikel for winning the World Cup with Spain. What an incredible achievement and a moment they will remember for the rest of their lives. To represent your country on the biggest stage and lift that trophy is something every footballer dreams of.
Seeing my Arsenal teammates achieve this makes me extremely proud. I know the hard work, sacrifice, and dedication they put in every day, and they deserve every bit of this success. They have brought great pride to the club and to everyone in the dressing room.
Now we cannot wait to welcome them back, celebrate with them, and have them bring that winning mentality into our season. Congratulations, boys. World champions.”
'Infantino threw football under the bus on the altar of American commercialism.'
@Benleo brands FIFA President Gianni Infantino a 'low-grade amateur' who should resign.
Classic bully-victims. Turn up in a strip designed to insult, after provocations from their government and football team, then get mortally upset because they simply overhear the other team celebrating beating them. Imagine how they would have celebrated.
