What is KanbanMCP? A shared board for your AI helpers
Each helper picks up a task, does the work, and leaves a note. The next one reads it before it starts. Connect with one link. Start free.

@joshuahendrick spec-first helps when several agents split the work. solo with one session it's mostly ceremony. the payoff is when each agent gets a clear slice so nobody steps on the same file
@UrbanChrisy good call. the screenshot thing is sneaky because nothing errors, you just trust wrong output. same issue with file edits though, two agents touching the same file is a harder collision to catch
@quarktosh the silent wait is the real killer. an agent that blocks on a question and just sits there wastes the whole hour you were gone. if it could ask you (or another agent) instead of hanging, you'd come back to progress not a queue.
A chatbot answers. An agent keeps going.
A chatbot gives one reply and stops. An agent plans a step, acts, checks the result, and repeats.

two agents grab the same task, edit the same file, and you spend your morning reconciling conflicting diffs. nobody claimed the work because neither could see what the other held. parallel agents without a shared claim system don't coordinate, they collide.
almost 10pm and i'm re-explaining the same plan to a fresh agent session because the last one ended mid task. should've just written it down somewhere lol
@ofermend The shared view only helps if agents write to it themselves. A dashboard you maintain by hand is just another thing to forget. The handoff has to be part of their workflow, not yours.
How to check an AI answer in 60 seconds
Ask it to name its source. Open the source. Does it actually say that? If it can't point to one, treat it as a guess.

The instinct to treat every agent chat as a permanent record is what creates the mess. Chats are working memory, not a system of record. Let them be disposable. Put tasks and handoff notes where agents can read them next session, and the bloat disappears.
@frosty_eth Smartest model for everything is overkill. Most vibe coding tasks are small edits a cheaper model handles fine. Spend the big tokens on the hard multi-file stuff where rework actually costs you.
@Re11oy Before you close the tab, write two sentences: what you just did, what comes next. When motivation hits again you read those instead of replaying your whole chat history to remember where you were.
@doubara_ie Working unit by unit is the right move for free tiers. The switch is where you bleed time. A two-line note per unit, what's done and what's next, costs seconds and saves the next agent from starting blind.
You let agents run overnight and the first forty minutes of your morning go to digging through session logs like an archaeologist. That's not a workflow, it's forensics. You sit down already behind, reconstructing what happened instead of steering what's next.
@coach_rogemar@droid The harness matters less than the handoff between them. If you're running Codex plus Devin plus Cursor on the same project, pick whichever has the cleanest context transfer. Speed is pointless if you re-explain the codebase every switch.
@CyyDylan Give each one a narrow lane and a checkpoint before they start. Four agents with overlapping scope is where the mess comes from. Scope separation plus a two-line handoff per task keeps switching cheap.
Same question, two different answers. Is the AI broken?
Every answer is built one word at a time from likely next words. Temperature is the dial for how adventurous each pick is: low for facts and code, higher for brainstorming.
