This is a great chart explaining foods that could impact those with HIV. This is important as I was unaware different foods may affect them more due to their medication. We should be aware of this as we may have people with HIV in our lives + we could help them. @beh353#beh353

This video is very informative about not only the money that is being wasted when food is wasted but also the social and environmental factors that are impacted. We should remember to not buy too much food when shopping in order to stop food loss and waste. #beh353@beh353
Food loss & waste isnโt just about perfectly good food not making it to our tables, or the money we waste when it gets thrown out instead of eaten.
The real cost of food goes far beyond what we pay for it.
Stop food loss & waste. For the people. For the planet!
Interesting read on new and upcoming fad diets which may be present in the next year. This article can be a good reminder to those who may think of starting a fad diet to truly do their research and consult their doctor before starting any type of diet. @beh353#beh353
@OliviaClaf@beh353 Hi Olivia! This is a great way to implement nutrition as a dermatologist. As someone who's had a dermatologist suggest certain foods for my skin, I think this is so important as many don't realize how much food effects our skin! @beh353#beh353
I plan on using nutrition as a pediatric PA by informing my patients on the different types of food, what healthful eating is, and helping them understand there are no 'bad' foods. This will hopefully encourage kids to have a healthy relationship with food. #beh353@beh353
A great chart which highlights protein sources for Vegans! Often times people think that as a vegan you are not nourishing yourself. This charts helps shows the diverse options that are available for those who eat a vegan diet! @beh353#beh353
@DaniellaCondon2 @EmmaDArpinoRD Hi Daniella! I too didnโt know this. Often times people skip the frozen produce as they think itโs not as great as the fresh produce but this proves otherwise! I will have to start incorporating frozen veggies in my food! #beh353@beh353
I liked how Emma explained that you can still have โjunkโ food and be healthy. By having โjunkโ food in moderation this is good as it is a way that helps people continue their healthy eating. @EmmaDArpinoRD@beh353#beh353
@bellaleonardi1@beh353 Hi Bella! This is a great little chart! I think this is even more important to have around as many more people are starting to cook for the holidays. This is important for us to keep at the back of our minds. Thanks for sharing! @beh353#beh353
This is a great article which helps when eyeballing snack portions. Often times people snack until theyโre full (essentially another meal) this is a good way to be aware of the general serving sizes of common snacks we eat! @beh353#beh353
I think this is a great article to share with pregnant women as itโs from a credible source which has many dietary recommendations for what women should have more of (to help fetal development), avoid, and how to handle food safely. @beh353#beh353 https://t.co/FYUaVx8Te5
Growing up at home we loved eating dessert and I still find myself still having a sweet tooth. Often times finding when Iโm craving something sweet, I have started substituting cold sweet fruits such as mangoes or pineapple instead to make it healthier. @beh353#beh353
@Hexanehydride @beh353 Hi Jin, I think this is truly the correct approach as by shaming people, it will only make things worse, and could lead to more serious issues. #beh353@beh353
Many pts struggle with their weight, often times due to underlying health conditions. Unlike the clinicians mentioned in Sarah Bee's video, I will approach my pts who are over weight like the ones who are not, and assess them how I would any other pt #beh353@beh353

@shannonMCP@beh353 Hi Shannon! I also think James cordons video was greatly done. I too did not know how much sleep impacted obesity before this week! @beh353#beh353
@raiyanb01@beh353 interesting that often times individuals consume diet soft drinks in order to be 'healthy' but it looks like they are actually in fact the exact opposite.@beh353#beh353
Interesting to see many don't realize that obesity is not simply due to people being lazy. Health issues, poverty, and genetics all play a huge role. It is shame that obese people are called unmotivated and lazy when its due to something out of their control. @beh353#beh3533
