Kanu Hawaii is leading the "Pledge to Our Keiki," to support a positive future for our children. That pledge will get some attention today as Peace Boat pulls into Hawaii & will ask its 1,400 passengers to sign the Pledge before they disembark.

The Pledge, written by students across the islands and inspired by the Palau Pledge, encourages everyone to mālama the islands by respecting the lands, practicing sustainability, and protecting its unique species.
Today, @KanuHawaii and their partners hosted a Pledge to our Keiki presentation at the Capitol. We were joined by the public, Mālama Honua Charter Schools, President of Palau Surangel Whipps Jr., and various state legislators.
